The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the Hundegger K2i machining centre, ensuring the correct processing of timber, compliance with production orders and adherence to defined quality standards.<\/p>\n\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Operate, set up and monitor the Hundegger K2i CNC machining centre;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Load and prepare the machine;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Load and validate cutting and machining files;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Read and interpret projects, production orders, technical drawings and structural plans;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Monitor the machining process, ensuring the correct operation of the equipment;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Carry out dimensional checks on the manufactured components;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Carry out finishing operations, including sanding, where applicable;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Unload and handle the manufactured components;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Identify and check the quality of the timber and machined components, detecting any defects or non-conformities;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Ensure compliance with production orders, deadlines and defined quality standards;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Identify and report any anomalies or deviations in the production process;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Carry out first-level preventive maintenance;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the workstation and equipment;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Comply with internal safety, quality and production standards and procedures.<\/p>\n\n<p>Desired Profile<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Proven professional experience operating large-scale CNC machining centres;<br\/><br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Experience with Hundegger equipment, particularly the K2i, will be highly valued;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Experience in the timber, joinery or prefabricated construction industry;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Knowledge of timber structure machining;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Good knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings and structural plans;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Ability to interpret production orders and production files;<br\/><br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Knowledge of dimensional and quality control;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Ability to identify defects in timber and assess their impact on the machining process;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Ability to carry out basic equipment adjustments and settings;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Knowledge of first-level preventive maintenance;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Ability to work independently, which is particularly important given the position\u2019s assignment to the second shift;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Strong sense of responsibility in meeting production orders, deadlines and quality standards;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Accuracy, organisation and attention to detail;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Problem-solving and decision-making skills;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Ability to work as part of a team;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Availability to work a fixed second-shift schedule;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Ability to commute to the Neiva Industrial Zone;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Immediate or short-term availability.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p>What We Offer<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Join a stable and growing company in the timber construction sector;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Join a specialised industrial team;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Initial training and support;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Opportunity to work with specialised CNC technology for the timber industry;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Opportunities for professional development and career progression;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Salary and benefits package commensurate with experience and demonstrated skills;<br\/>\u2022\u2060 Fixed second-shift schedule, Monday to Friday.<\/p>\n\n<p>Why work at PORTILAME?<\/p>\n\n<p>At PORTILAME, we believe that our success depends on the well-being of our employees.
