We are proud to announce that PORTILAME has obtained FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certification, under license number FSC-C215955.
This internationally recognized certification demonstrates PORTILAME’s continuous commitment to working with partners that supply wood products from sustainable sources, particularly those holding FSC® certification. Accordingly, part of our range — including treated wood, solid wood, panels, and engineered wood products — comes from responsible sources that promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable forest management.
Through this certification, we commit to:
• Not purchasing wood from illegal sources;
• Respecting human and workers’ rights;
• Preserving areas of high conservation value;
• Avoiding inappropriate forest conversion;
• Not using genetically modified organisms in our operations;
• Complying with the fundamental conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), ensuring fair, safe, and equitable working conditions.
