CMD ASSOCIATION

CMD – Portuguese Association of Construction of Wood and Derivatives, intends to bring together all those who are interested in the construction of wood and derivatives: designers, engineers and architects, project managers, builders, manufacturers, producers, industrialists, consultants, people involved in activities of research and teaching.

PORTILAME is part of this Association that carried out the cycle of lectures “Quartas da Madeira”, the seminar “Construir em Madeira” and the workshop “Malhas espaciais em madeira”, among others.

MIMA

Mima Housing is a company with a modern concept, which has always intended to be more than an architecture office, becoming a philosophy of simplification and seduction, gradually applied in the most varied scales of architecture.

The modular system is the shared project between us, where the houses designed by Mima Housing are developed and executed by PORTILAME.

UNIVERSITY OF MINHO

PORTILAME supports the University of Minho in the scientific tests carried out on wooden structures, making available the materials requested for testing.

CASAS EM MOVIMENTO

Portugal’s only representative at Solar Decathlon Madrid 2012 was “Casas em Movimento” project created by architect Manuel Vieira Lopes (University of Porto).

Of the approximately 200 projects worldwide, 20 were selected to exhibit and compete in Madrid, being “Casas em Movimento” one of them.

PORTILAME has supported the project since the beginning, providing all the necessary resources, facilities, means, technical staff and know-how for the project to be a success.

MUNICIPALITY OF VIANA DO CASTELO

The Municipality of Viana do Castelo has been showing its support to city entrepreneurs.

For PORTILAME, it provided a public space for the exhibition of the Woodenquark house.
