About the vacancy:
We are looking for a Site Manager with solid experience in construction to coordinate and supervise timber construction projects, ensuring that deadlines, quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership and organisational skills, as well as technical expertise, and will be responsible for the overall management of teams and the smooth execution of works on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall coordination of timber construction works
- Management and supervision of teams (carpenters, fitters, subcontractors)
- Planning and supervision of on-site works
- Ensure that deadlines and targets are met
- Quality control during the execution of works
- Management of materials, equipment and logistics
- Project interpretation and liaison with the site management team
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Troubleshooting technical issues on site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a site manager in the construction industry
- Knowledge of timber construction (preferably: structures, CLT, LSF timber, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good organisation and a results-oriented approach
- Willingness to travel
- Driving licence
