About the vacancy:
We are looking for a Production Manager to lead and optimise the production process at a joinery workshop, ensuring efficiency, quality and adherence to deadlines. The ideal candidate should possess strong industrial management skills, technical knowledge of woodworking, and experience in coordinating teams and production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production planning, organisation and control
- Overall management of the joinery workshop
- Team coordination (production, finishing, assembly)
- Optimisation of production processes and workflows
- Monitoring of deadlines, costs and quality
- Stock and raw materials management
- Implementation of continuous improvement (lean, operational efficiency)
- Coordination with the design, procurement and construction departments
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements:
- A degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Woodworking) or equivalent relevant experience
- Proven experience in production management roles (preferably in joinery or furniture manufacturing)
- A sound understanding of wood processing
- Experience with machinery and technologies (CNC, cutting, finishing, etc.)
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
- A strong focus on results and continuous improvement
- Good IT skills (ERP, Excel, etc.)
