Construction Director

About the vacancy:

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead timber construction projects, ensuring the technical, financial and operational coordination of the works, from the preparation phase through to completion. The ideal candidate should possess strong management skills, strategic vision and sound technical knowledge, ensuring the efficient delivery of projects to high quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, coordination and overall management of the works
  • Technical supervision and monitoring of the execution of the works
  • Management of in-house teams and subcontractors
  • Cost, deadline and quality control
  • Drawing up and monitoring schedules
  • Reading and analysing architectural and specialist design documents
  • Liaising with customers, regulatory authorities and suppliers
  • Management of measurements, site reports and quotes
  • Ensure compliance with current safety standards and regulations
  • Identification and resolution of technical and operational issues


Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager
  • Knowledge of timber construction (preferably: CLT, modular structures, etc.)
  • Proficiency in IT tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Results-oriented and goal-driven
  • Willingness to travel (Essential)
  • Driving licence
