We have two advanced wood treatment methods: soaking and autoclaving.
Both methods ensure that the wood is protected against insects and fungi, increasing its durability and resistance.
Immersion
We use technology that guarantees high productivity and efficiency on a par with the best practices in the world. We have the capacity to automatically treat beams with sections of up to 40cm x 120cm, using the surface impregnation method (NP2 and NP3).
Autoclave
It is a technological process that incorporates mechanics and chemistry, allowing the wood to be deeply impregnated with insecticide and fungicide products.
These treatments are used on a wide variety of woods and ensure the following risk/use classes (according to standard EN335-2):
· Class 1 – Application in protected, dry interior;
· Class 2 – Application in sheltered interiors, occasionally humid;
· Class 3.1 – Outdoor application, above ground, protected / sheltered;
· Classe 3.2 – Outdoor application, above ground, unprotected / without shelter;
· Class 4 – Outdoor application in contact with soil and/or fresh water.
