The seminar ‘Building with Wood’ will be held on 7 June, and will focus on industrialisation and modular construction, with the participation of PORTILAME and the architect João Veloso.
This seminar is aimed at professionals in the sector, such as architects and engineers, as well as individuals interested in the area. It will take place at the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, in Guimarães, from 9am to 6.45pm.
The event aims to explore the possibilities and challenges of wood construction, bringing to light the latest technological advances and best practices in terms of sustainability.
João Veloso will discuss traditional Chinese wooden architecture with the theme “Atelier Ai Weiwei, an icon in the midst of the digital and technological age”.
