On July 11, a part of the PORTILAME team had the opportunity to attend an exclusive practical session offered by Rothoblaas, a leading company in the development and supply of high-tech solutions for the building systems sector.
The activity was part of the Specialization Course “Introduction to Wood Construction”, organized by the University of Minho in collaboration with the APCMD – Portuguese Association for Construction in Wood and Derivatives.
“Introduction to Wood Construction”
The course, now in its 4th edition, is aimed at active construction professionals. During 10 intensive weeks, students explore the fundamentals and advanced applications of wood construction.
The practical session with Rothoblaas
In addition to the academic course, the practical workshop offered by Rothoblaas proved to be essential. Focusing on practical application and innovative technologies, it provided participants with a unique learning experience.
Although it was open to all course participants, it ended up bringing together only members of PORTILAME.
By taking part in the course and the practical session with Rothoblaas, it was possible to acquire advanced knowledge of techniques and technologies, as well as consolidate experience in implementing high-quality, sustainable construction solutions.
