PORTILAME was present at the 48th Quality Colloquium, held on 20 and 21 November at the University of the Azores, in Ponta Delgada, under the theme “Challenging the Frontiers of Quality”.

Organised by the Portuguese Association for Quality (APQ), the event brought together professionals, companies and institutions from various sectors to reflect on current challenges related to quality, innovation, leadership and sustainable productivity, while promoting the exchange of knowledge and best practices.

PORTILAME was represented by its QAS Director, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the continuous improvement of its processes, the consolidation of a strong quality culture and the adoption of increasingly sustainable and efficient practices.

Over the two days, topics such as quality as part of organisations’ DNA, leadership in today’s context, innovation supported by technology and artificial intelligence, and the role of quality in building more resilient and future-ready organisations were addressed.

PORTILAME’s participation in this colloquium forms part of its strategy to actively follow best practices and emerging trends in quality management, contributing to the strengthening of excellence, reliability and sustainability that define its role in the timber construction sector.
